Our Mission

A former professional dancer founded Tutus and Tendus to provide a one-stop dance boutique for the greater Rochester community. We serve not only ballerinas but also jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, drill team, and theater dancers! Our selection includes shoes, tights, and dancewear from toddler to adult plus sizes, along with hair supplies, bags, and unique dance-inspired gifts.

Pointe shoe fittings are available by appointment with a deposit, which goes toward your purchase. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is here to help, whether you’re a preschooler preparing for your first class, a professional dancer searching for the perfect audition look, or simply looking to embrace the trendy dancer aesthetic, you’ll find what you need at Tutus and Tendus!
